Jil

Jil Stifel is a dancer and collaborative artist who works in movement, dance and performance. She has performed extensively with various modern dance companies including Attack Theater, Miller Rothlein, and Pennsylvania Dance Theater as well as independent artists such as Maree Remalia, Megan Mazerick, and Kyle Abraham. Her projects have been presented both nationally and internationally. Her choreography has been supported by The Pennsylvania Council on the arts, The Heinz Endowments, and The Greater Pittsburgh Art Council, Kelly Strayhdorn Theater and The New Hazlett Theatre. Jil holds a BFA in Dance an MS in Clincal Exercise Physiology and received her yoga teaching certification in 2007. Find out more at jilstifel.com
